What a splendid 4 nights stay in the Garden Cottage Kingfisher. A lovely big room with comfortable and tasteful country style furnishings. Lupus Den Country House is a blissful heaven of peace and perfect hosting. Priscilla is a gem. We got an extensive detailed list of activities beforehand from which we chose (we believe) the best guided tour of Scotia Safaris (Tooth & Claw, half day safari).
We savoured the tranquillity of the pool area and garden and Priscillas excellent cooking. Her meals are a must. On our first night we had the dining room to ourselves - it was like a film - the stylish country house atmosphere, candle light, soft piano music - awesome !!! We enjoyed every second. Thank you for spoiling us Priscilla!
We would definitely book Lupus Den again and highly recommend this country house.

Our stay with Priscilla was an extraordinary experience. A quiet luxury hideaway with a pool surrounded by a wonderful garden, double in- and outside rainshower and a spacious room with a covered verandah. All beeing topped by a mouth-watering choice of cooked or cold breakfast and delicious 3 course dinners you would only expect from high cuisine restaurants. If someone had told us before we would have booked in for a whole week, as the 2 nights we stayed were definetely too short to really appreciate everything. The recommendation in advance for Connor, our Ranger who spent a great day with us in the Addo Elephant Park turned out to be a perfect advice. We love to come back and stay a few days more.

Die schöne Unterkunft hatten wir ausgewählt, weil wir die Abgeschiedenheit gesucht hatten.
... und unsere Vorstellungen wurden bei Weitem übertroffen.
Die großzügige Anlage mit Swimmingpool war sehr angenhem um den Abend dort zu geniessen. Wir hatten entscheiden, uns an den Abenden von Priscilla zum Dinner bewirten lassen.
Das Abendessen (3-Gänge-Menu) war delikat und äußerst geschmackvoll. Das stimmungsvolle Ambiente mit Kerzenschein gab dem Gesamten ein festliches Ambiente.
Kompliment an Priscilla, eine perfekte Gastgeberin, die uns mit ihren Anregungen auch sehr nützliche Ausflugstipps gab.
Lupusden ist auf alle Fälle und ohne Einschränkungen weiter zu empfehlen.

We enjoyed every bit of our stay with Priscilla and Noel. The place is like a little tropical paradise with birds singing all the time, lovely big beds and more than excellent food and care. Very attractive for travellers like us.

Wir hatten 2 Übernachtungen im April 2011 in diesem wunderbaren Gasthaus, nur 45 Minuten vom Addo-NP entfernt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Menü zum Dinner, das sollte man keinesfalls verpassen. Priscilla und ihr Mann sind ausgezeichnete Gastgeber.Wir haben die Übernachtungen unkompliziert von Deutschland via Internet gebucht.

Best B&B we/ve experienced on our world travels. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you for your warm hospitality. We enjoyed everything here thoroughly from room decor to delicious meals. We shall never forget this "home away from home" in the Eastern Cape.

Our days here were wonderful.We felt so comfortable and are very sad to leave.This place has a very special atmosphere and the food was heavenly! We would always come back.
